I just picked up an 88 convertible with no papers at all.

It runs good but I am puzzled at the sequence of how the top should go down.

I searched but very little here about verts that I can see.

Any hints? It seems to be a pain in the *** to use.

Although this is from a 91 'vert owners manual, many of the things can help you:

It's easy once you know the drill. I have raised or lowered the top while sitting at a stoplight on more than a few occasions.
