More info. Unless you got into an accident there is nothing wrong with your control arms, they are aluminum and don't wear out. The bushings may be bad but that is different.

You can replace your own wheel bearing, very easy especially if you don't change the bearing race. Do both sides while you are at it. There a million write ups here on how to.

Do tell more... how about some details on this.

Edit: Do you mean a right and left? Front and rear? Surely your problem can be fixed for much less than $800. If you aren't changing wheel bearings, what are you going to do with a roller?

well i'm planning on putting a new engine into it the car I have now cost me 1500 with a TII motor that runs but I was planning on selling it and starting anew. Umm pretty much the pass control arm is different than the drivers. The rear seems fine. And the interior isn't all to great (gau

EDIT: O i also need to purchase a TII LSD and it'll need paint, I just figured a roller would be the best way to go.

The only way a control arm can really be "shot" is if it's physically damaged, broken, or if it's from an S5 and the ball joint is worn out. An S4 arm will never wear out, as the ball joint is replacable, as are the bushings.
