t2 problem

ok so i have my t2 running but it has a problem starting sometimes. it has a home done streetport and emissions removal. i can start it initally most of the time and let it warm up but once i turn it off and go to start it back up it will just crank and crank...also i think i have a either a burnt or cracked sideseal or apex seal which may be causing the problem. when the car is running there is alot of gas fumes coming from the crankcase breather off the oil fill. i initially thought that because of the port and the emissions removal that the car is going to run extremely rich on the stock ecu and that it was just excess fuel but i think its blowby. so i was going to go with some fuel management and hope that i would be able to lean the engine out. i went to drain the oil today and there is a gas smell in the oil and its pretty strong. can anybody help?

Did you change out all your seals when you had your streetport done? When you say "home"streetport, did you even use a template?

i bought the car and was told that he did a streetport with templates and that there was one broken apex seal so he replaced it...that is the extent of my knowledge on the porting job and that it runs....sometimes. i will be doing another compression test tomorrow to verify the three even bounces on each rotor....if i find that there is a bad seal i think im going to have it sent out to have a professional streetport done and stage 1 rebuild by rx7world because they seem to be the cheapest and do a good job

from what I've read on here id ask one question...what condition was the engine in b/f he did the port? seems like after a min of abuse these engines will tell on you if you are not taking care of them. check the usual..compression, tps, do a full tune up etc...
