Question Confusion about brake master cylinder (URGENT)

So here i the deal:

The master cylinder was leaking horrible so I decided to just buy a new one. When I'm taking the old one off I notice the bottom censor. If I remember right this was for the AAS (Correct me if Im wrong). Now this is an 87 Turbo with 5 lug 4 piston calipers, did this actually have AAS or m'I getting this confused with the adjustable suspension that the GXL had?

Even If I go to MazdaTrix I cant find a turbo master cylinder with AAS.

Please help....The local parts store has a master cylinder waiting for me but it does not have the plug.

Im so confused

Where was the sensor located??? On the bottom of the master cyl or the bottom of the tank?

There really are only 4 types of master cyls any more for the S4 cars.

#1 for cars with AAS:

#2 for cars with ABS

#3 for cars with both AAS and ABS

#4 for cars without AAS and ABS:

You really can't get the small single front piston non AAS, no ABS brake master anymore, so everyone just uses the standard one that was on the Turbo and Sport for all the cars without AAS and ABS including the Turbos, Sports, and base/SE models.

Now you can also use the S5 Turbo one, but there is no point in that unless you have ABS, since all S5 Turbos had ABS.

You see what Im confused about though is that the one that came out of the car looks just like the one you posted as #1 which it has the big censor located at the bottom of the cylinder. I dont think this car was supposed to have that since its an 87 T2 but it actually has the cable plugged in to it.

So just to finalize this should I just get the regular one without the big plug at the bottom and just leave that cable hanging?

Thanks Ice

either that or just don't plug in the sensor...

You don't have ABS right?

Sensor not plugged in, is not different than one without a sensor as far as operation.

I dont think so...did that car come with ABS? I dont remember. You see on my NA the abs pump is on the power steering deal. This one does not have power steering.

But that cable is not for ABS right?

Oh god Im so comfused...I thought it was for AAS
