Computer Brain Box
Hi, I'm trying to help a friend of mine out and thought that maybe someone here could help me. He owns an 87 Mazda Rx7 turbo 2 and was wondering if you can take the "computer brain box" out of an 86' and put into an 87'. He called it a computer brain box, so I'm sorry thats not what it's really called. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Computer brain box. Wow. Anyway, its called the ECU for future reference. And assuming he wants to put it in his TII, then no. They didn't make turbos in 86 so it wont fit. It has to be the same ECU number as the old one to work.
