So how do you do a compression test on an 1988 RX-7 and how many plugs are there, only two?

Uhh, being my name is steve I have to help you out. There are 4 spark plugs, 2 per rotor. The top it the "trailing" the bottom is the "leading". Get a cheap manual (under $20) from shucks and read all of it. It will tell you how to do alot more than a compression check. A quick search on this forum should yield a detailed description on how to do a comp check.
