ooooor you hook it up to a Mazda compression tester (a bunch of members did this on an Ottawa Cruise) or hook up digital tach or timing light with RPM reading while doing the test....................

What gives? Is this normal compression?

Dude i have a jspec and my mechanic did a compression test the other week it is supposed to be between 100 and 120 on the turbo, shame my rear rotor was at 15psi lol

no.

you turn the ecc shaft 1/2 revolution and you get compression from one rotor face on one rotor another half turn you get compression from the next rotor on its face, and so on and so forth.

the rotors spin at 1/3 the speed the ecc shaft does.
