Compposite body parts (for the car!)

Gents,
I am in need of a composite nose cone for my race car. The rubber one is too flexible and difficult to repair. I have found a company to make the mold and produce the finished pieces, but I need to give him an initial order large enough to justify the cost of making the mold. It will be an exact replica of the 89-91 nose and because it is intended to be used with the fiber glass fenders that I use the mounting tabs will be deleted. This also make the mold simple and the pieces coming out of it cheaper. Initial estimate is around $200. I am committed to buying two already so all I have to do is get 3-4 more sold, at the most 6 and we are in business. Please let me know if you are interested.

You're only buying 2???

Let's see......

Monday practice at the Runoffs you over cook turn 7....there goes 1 nose

Tuesday qualifying Erik Skirmants cuts you off in madness....there goes #2

Wednesday qualifying you punt Erik in retaliation for Tuesday.....3 down

Thursday qualifying it's pouring rain and spin only to be hit head on by Erik who was in the process of hunting you down to retaliate for your retaliation.....4

Friday Bob Bennett gets drunk at the Prod Party and takes a hammer to your car......5 noses

Sunday race you get caught in the annual 1st lap melee.....

I think you need all 6! :-)

I may be interested, that's 200 USD right? WE got to paint them ourselves obviously too? I like the look of it. Someone post a pic of what it looks like?

I've seen pics of the fiberglass front nose before for racing, but I'm not sure who bought them.

I'm interested, 89-91 stock sounds good. I've always liked the stock cover but have wanted to do a light kit which would have required to cut the cover up, I'd rather do a composite one

What I'm thinking about would have the FTP lightholes filled in along with the turn signal holes. They would still be there but would look like they were painted over...
