S4 NA GXL. Went on a little drive today to a local shop to have my tie rods done and I noticed whenever I pressed the brakes my radio would cut out for a second. Kept driving it and then when I was going into a turn I pressed the brakes and my power steering cut out too. (Not sure if cut out or if it went into stiff mode) but this is the strangest thing. What could be the problem??

 

Cleaned my battery and alt contacts and it seems like everything is good now.

 

Your problem was symptomatic of low voltage so it was a good idea to check the charging system.

 

Electrical engineering major FTW hahaha. Though I didn't notice a drop on my volt meter while it was happening. It seems my volt meter is a little more stable now...
