Complete write up of twin scroll removal ..
I'm just looking for a detailed write up on removing the twin scroll and maybe the rats nest. I've searched but post directed me to the fc3spro site, but it's currently down. Any help would be great. I feel that my T2 isn't as fast as most T2's. It feels slower. Sometimes when I punch it, I hear the turbo but no dramatic change in acceleration. I do pick up speed but nothing like, 'wow!'

The cause of your car running slower or seems slow is another cause than what you're thinking. There could be a number of things that could be the culprit.
Clogged cats, cracked TID etc. Check for the obvious.
Removing the vacuum tubing and twin scroll isn't going to make the car faster. You're missing the whole point of removing the vacuum tubing. It's to rid of unnecassary
vacuum lines and solenoids. If you have emission testing in your area, you might as well forget about doing that. There's a shitload of write up about it in this forum . Search harder.
Removing twin scroll will cause the turbo to spool a little slower. There's a reason why Mazda installed the twin scroll. You can remove it if you are uncorking the exhaust since the twin scroll flap cause a very slight restriction.

What he said. Find the cause of any problems before you start ripping stuff off at random.
Note that if your twin-scroll system isn't working properly, fixing it will make the car faster. There's a check procedure in the FSM.
