I've read the guides that Icemark posted about rebuilding the wiper switch, and while helpful, I'm more concerned about getting further into it.

my mist setting on my switch sticks, so I was tempted to disassemble the entire thing and give it a good cleaning and grease. However, I cant seem to get the thing apart, and I dont want to risk breaking it by doing it the wrong way. Anyone have any insight as to how to get the actual rotating piece of the wiper speed switch apart? I see some tabs holding a the black plastic cover on, but those refuse to budge in the least, and pulling the piece that has the speed labeled doesn't seem to want to budge either. Any suggestions?
