compilation of aftermarket install info PLEASE
Hey guys i just need to know the right spots to find the following (best wording i could think of)
switched 12v ignition source
rmp source for tach,rpm switch
location for temp sensor while keeping the stock one'

Damn i had a whole list when I was in the shower and now these are the only 3 i can rememeber. ill add more in the morning, its late(2:23amEST)

In the wiring diagrams IG1 is on while cranking & running.
It's what you want for tach power.
You can pick up right at the ignition switch.
IG2 is on while running.
It's good for small amps & daytime running lights.
My favorite tap for IG2 power is the window fuse.
The ECU has a tach signal. Your Megasquirt is probably already tapped there.
Aux temp sensor- probably the water pump housing.
The CPU has a speed signal.
It's what you want for tach power.
