Competition Clutches?

Anyone here ever hear of or use "Comptetition Clutch" clutches?

I've got a choice to use either a brand new Competition clutch kit, with stage 2 pressure plate and what looks like a street/strip disk (sprung). Or I can use a slightly used RB clutch.

Anyone have any insight to the competition clutches?

Thanks,
James

I had one in a Honda and it was the stiffest clutch I have ever owned. But after a week of driving I got used to the feel and will probably end up buying another when my Rb20 goes into my 240

I don't touch anything that doesn't say ACT, Exedy, Ogura, OS Giken, or ATS on it...

I ask because I have the choice between using a BRAND NEW competition clutch kit (comparable to an ACT street/strip disk) and their stage 2 pressure plate. OR I can use a used (maybe 500 mi) RB disk, with a centerforce stage 2 pressure plate. The centerforce PP has uneven wear on the pressure plate fingers, so I'm not quite sure which I should go with.

What do you guys think? This is for my tii swap, into the tii transmission, by the way.

Thanks!

Never go used unless we're talking about a very lightly used clutch kit.

I dunno if you're looking for a turbo or non-turbo clutch, but there's an ACT used turbo FC 6-puck for like $21 right now.

I'm not looking, just trying to decide which to use. And the RB disk has immeasurable wear on it.
