Exclamation common places for coolant leak

there is a large coolant leak in my car, is there any common areas on second gens where leaks like this happen? i really don't want to have to bring it to the shop again and pay another 200$ to have it fixed

My coolant leak was coming from the cold start mechanism. I just simply removed it and problem solved

In your car? could be coming from your heater core, or the metal hoses that connect to the engine bay. My rubber hose was not fully connected to the metal hose and i had a small leak in my car. New hose and tighter fit stopped the leak. -Gabe

water pumps are pretty common to leak through the seep holes when they get more than 150K on them

Heater hose under the oil filter pedestal.
The small coolant line from the top of the rear housing up to the TB.
Erosion - right through the back wall of the water pump housing.
Hair line crack in the plastic thermostat neck.
Hair line crack in the plastic upper radiator tank.
Radiator tank-to-core seal.

Yes, I have had them all.
Why do I still like this car??
