????? 1. You can't put a watermark on an image that is already copyrighted. 2. You have made different hoses the same color which will just confuse people further. Try again, and this time don't watermark what isn't yours.

i approve. i haven't yet figured out the nest via the next removal thread- which is all text

he doesn't state anywhere that it's HIS OWN MADE DIAGRAM. the single line of text tells you he colored in the lines.

the water mark is overkill but it's a good diagram.

^^^^ The point of a watermark is so that others cannot take your image and post it as their own. So by putting a watermark on it he is saying that it is his. If I color an M.C. Escher painting I cannot watermark it afterwards. It is a good concept, but he didn't connect the colors of the most confusing parts of the diagram, and some of the colors change when they are connected to the same thing. I.E. the green line going to the front rotor actuator and the blue line going to the rear rotor actuator. Also the main fuel line is the same color as some of the vac lines, so it isn't really useful.

Watermark gone...

The purpose of the different colored lines is not so much for accuracy as it is for distinction...
What needs correcting guys/gals???

Hey - this is FAR better than anything I have ever seen so far - thanks! The only thing that I want to try (and I can't because my color cartridge is low) is to print it in color, and see how well it looks on paper.

If it looks like the pic, it will save me a ton of time the next time I go digging for hoses in the engine bay.

I wish I could find similar colored "full" schematics for the various circuit boards on our S5's ...............

I don't have a series five nor have I worked on one. BUT, I look at your diagram and notice the two lines going to the ACV and their colors. I know the ACV is fed by the Relief and Switching solenoids and the color on the Switching solenoid is not one of the two colors AT the ACV.

So, maybe the routing is the same as on the series four, but I'd say the Purple line at the ACV is wrong. See what I mean? But I agree, I could be wrong since I don't have a series five and MAYBE the routing is different.

EDIT: And that also would mean the 6PI is/are wrong at the 6PI actuators.

I see another small problem The FPR solenoid (PRC Orange) should be routing vacuum to the FPR. On the FPR I see a YELLOW line. But there is no YELLOW vacuum line on the PRC Orange.

I'm NOT knocking you or your effort. Maybe just change the colors on the lines so they match??? Yes. Thank you for the effort.

That... is why you fail...

If a colour-coded vac diagram is inaccurate, it is useless. Worse than useless if someone follows it and makes a mistake.

Well, the line called MAIN FUEL HOSE, goes to the PULSATION DAMPER. And they are not the same colour (first time spelling like that, wheee!), but should be the same colour.

So, redo the ones I cited and post it, and I'll pick at it some more. Your on your way to getting it done. Keep on keepin on.

On the back of the dynamic chamber are three lines. Coloured Green, Blue and Red. Well, I followed the Blue one, and it seems to change colors later on. It turns to Yeller but the color should stay the same color. Right? Yes. So make that one all Blue.

The steel vac lines should be coloured too, which would eliminate any problems with lines changing colour and show the complete path for each system.

That is a series 5 (five), not a series four.

I know it is for an S5. What is your point. This thread is for a colored S5 N/A diagram. One change the PRC to Manifold was yellow, now fixed.

My point is..........pointless. I confused this Colored Vacuum thread with the other one that started about the same time this one did. The other thread has a series four vacuum diagram that is in need of corrections. My bad, so to speak.
