Sorry, no color involved on a series four.
It's produced by the BAC and the Air Bypass Solenoid plus a input from the water temp switch on the BOTTOM of the radiator and throw in the clutch pedal switch and the neutral switch. And I forgot the Air Bypass Solenoid Relay.
It does not function when the water temp switch reads below 62.5 degrees or so.
