Angry collant leak never let her drive

I let the girlfriend drive the car and she comes home and tells me the car is buzzing and the light thing was going on she said the temp ga never got hot ( at this point I was) I should never let my baby out of my hands (the car )I just had a new apex eng put in about 7000 mi ago and the last thig I wanted is to have it over heat . If the temperature gauge is working and she is telling the truth it should be ok .Dont take the chance never let them drive the rx ....Well let me get to the point coolant is leaking from where the engine and tranny meet, At the top ,not a hose . It sprays a stream (like a squirt gun when the rpms are at 2500 and up ,any thing below it does not spray has anybody experienced this?
again it sprays a steady stream the size of a squirt gun the velocity of this stream increases with the RPMs if anyone has any insight into this matter your help greatly be appreciated thank you in advance chris papas

I certainly wouldn't blame her for the problem. Sounds like a part failure plain and simple. But isn't it incredible that someone could have a geyser going off 2 ft. in front of their nose with the smell of antifreeze and not notice it until the buzzer goes off?? And they say we don't pay attention.

I think there is a "freeze plug" in that location.

There's a nipple that comes out of the top of the passenger side of the rear housing. It's part of the TB coolant garbage. The leak may have something to do with that system. There are hoses that go from the water pump to the BAC valve, the BAC valve to the TB, and the TB to the rear housing.

Aren't the freeze plugs only in the back of the rear housing?
