Cold starting

This is my first winter with my 87 n/a and I am wondering if I have a starting problem emerging - the current morning temp is around 20F and my beast is taking about 6 turns on the starter to fire - in warm weather it started on about one or two turns - we confidently expect to see below 0F within the next month and I am wondering if I should expect a no-start problem - surely any f/i egine should fire before 6 turns?

your compression might be low from a worn engine, and the colder the engine the lower it gets.
