cold start/NO START
cold start/NO START
1986 non turbo--
Sat a day or to when weather was icy.
Started with a little hesitation and smoke moved it out of the driveway and then back in.
Second day didnt start at all---turns over and I smell fuel out of the exhaust but still no start.
Could it be as easy as the plugs?
Can they just give it up like that?
Any suggestions would be gratly appreaciated,

Classic flooding issue. Mine doesn't do it, but I've read about it so much it's got to be true, that if you shut it down before it's warmed up it'll flood.
Pull the EGI fuse under the hood, crank for about 6 or so seconds a couple of times, then put the fuse back in and it sure fire off.
Keep the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor during all this. In fact if you are anticipating a flood, do the same.
Cheers

EGI.......the fuse box in the engine bay. Black rectangular black box. Most inboard fuse
