cold running still sux. but I am closer
When I start my car cold, it runns like ****. I wasn't sure what it was only that it was very annoying.
I discovered that while the car is warming up, the car runns WAY too rich. If the car died, it was flodded. you could smell the fuel in the tail pipe. I could unhook the large tube in the pipe between the MAF and TB. the car ran great when I did that.
So after some playing, I disconnected the BAC valve and the problem disappeared for a day. then it returned yesterday, but not nearly as bad.
now it doen't last as long. and the car is still just barley drivable.
help me figure this out

Adjust your variable resistor(rich/lean screw). See http://iluvmyrx7.com download the section 4A on fuel. Only effects the idle mixture. Nothing else at no other time. Go thru the full section 4A and tune your car up.
Try re-grounding your engine/firewall...
Too rich... check the AFM wiring. That means not enough voltage is getting from the AFM to the ECU- the less voltage, the more air it thinks is going through.....
Throughly clean out the throttle body.
If your AFM mounted normally? Not angled or anything?
Before you do anything else, check your compression too... sounds suspicuious.
