Coilovers for the vert, Can I?

I wanted to buy coilovers for my vert. I've read/heard a few things and just wanted to make sure that I can use coilovers since I know they make vert specific springs because of the weight difference but I think all the struts are similiar to the TII. Either way can I put coilovers on my vert?

Also I either want the Tein Super Streets or the Tein Flex's and ofcourse the EDFC box. Which one should I go with as far as spring rate goes, etc.

Thanks in advance.

You can use tII rated springs on your vert with no worry at all. The suspension is the same as far as fitment goes. The weight of the tII and the Vert are pretty close. Mazda sez the TII is 2850 for 1988 and the Vert is 3003. A difference of 153 pounds.

I have TII eibachs on mine and love it.
