Coil test question...
So I'm reading through the FSM on how to test the ingnition coils, when I come to the part about checking the ignitors with an ohmeter. The FSM says "The pointer needle on the Ohm meter should jump to the approx. 1/3 scale on the X1 scale and then return."
Anyone know what the value of "1/3 scale on the X1 scale" is??
I have a suspect Leading coil pack and I was going to test it tonight, but don't have a "ignitor tester" like the FSM wants youto use...I do however have a Digital Multi-meter, and can measure the resistance.
ALSO, when refering to the "(B)" wire or the "(BY)" wires, are those refernces to the wire colors?? or are they labeled as such?
Thanks in advance,
Mike D
