Alright i work at this auction place ... and well a 87 t2 came in ... it has like 191k miles on it... and it runs and starts fine.. sputters a lil bit but hell it runs... i was thinking about going up to 500 on it... u think its worht it? i plan on doing a na>t2 swap on my 88 gxl... and i plan on getting the donor engine rebuilt and ported... just wondering if u think its worth it... the cars in decent shape.. just rust and high mileage so i know i can get it cheap

 

hell yea, I paid $650 this summer for a 89 n/a that just got dropped off at a junkyard

we still cant figure out why it ended up at the junkyard, it starts, runs etc. damn near a complete car, I canibalized the hell out of it for my '91

if anything, you can part it out, theres well over $2000 worth of parts in a decent FC

 

I would say yes. And keep an eye out for another. I am looking for a parts car. I have a 91 and need some various parts.
