coated apex seals? TiN and Nikasil

has anyone thought of coating there apex seals with nikasil or TiN?

on paper it should make it more pourus and stronger, but how will it react in a N/A 13b?

Why would you want to make it stronger?
I think TiN is also abrasive?
You'd hammer the apex seal grooves in the rotors and end up with out-of-spec clearances in a jiffy...

hmm if it is then theres also nikasil coating, its 1/100th as thick as chrome plating but 3 times stronger, and very pourus and offers decreased friction, the coating is only about .07mm thick
