clutch trick

one of my friends who was the previous owner of my 87 na told me about a clutch trick thingy when its flooded he told me to do somethign with the clutch and the car moves and it starts with out the whole pulling out the egi fuse under the hood. does anyone know what im tlaking about or do i sound insane?

well you can push start it.....push in clutch...get car rolling....drop clutch/turn key

no i dont know what he was doing but he was in the car and while starting the car he was doing somethign with the clutch to make the car move slightly does anyone know how to do this

.....Well you cant make the car move by just pushing the clutch...


As mentioned before, poping the clutch can start your car, however the car has to be moving. No matter what you do, just pushing on the clutch will not start your car by its self.

are you talking aboot leaving it in gear and cranking the engine over so the car will move without it actually being on?
