clutch stuck in gear/not disengaging

Given:

transmission will go into a gear before started.

as soon as car starts the rear wheels spin (car on jackstands now)

impossible to get car out of gear when car is running.

all clutch hydralics work. press clutch pedal slave cylinder extends towards fork...

Clutch will not disengage???

let me know what you think!

TIA
Chuck

Mine did that a couple days ago... I'd check the slave again, make sure its pushing the fork all the way. If it seems like it could go farther, you might have a big bubble in the line, try bleeding it. If thats not the problem, eh, i'd start wondering... Maybe the fork is bent and doesnt move the throwout bearing like it should?

Pressure plate may have collapsed.

or clutch disc material may have seperated and jammed between pressure plate and disc. happened to me and I only discovered it after replacing all the hydraulics. pull the starter and try to take a look inside and see if anything is loose in there.
