clutch in to start....

how do i make it so i don thave to step on teh clutch to start the car...... it makes it alot easier when im working on teh car and not having ot jump in teh seat just to start the car.

My two cents? Leave it alone. It will prevent the kind of mishap you don't even want to think about when you're working on the car. Like having someone turn the key when part of your body is under the car and you're "sure that it's in neutral." You don't need a 2700 weight on your leg or chest.

but if you really want to know just put some electrical tape around the neutral safty switch whiel you are working on it and take it off when you are done

well i normaly dont start my car if im going to be working on it it usuauly when iflood my enigne or wat ever or when i start my car in teh morning to warm it up nto to say im layzee or ne thing but i just like how my supra is like that and i dont have to step on teh clutch and stuff thanks ne ways

well if your that lazy just get a remote start and bypass the clutch and ur problems are fixed lol

The "neutral safety switch" switch is in car with automatic transmissions IIRC. No matter, its just terminology. The clutch safety switch is a simple switch on the clutch pedal bracket. If you cut the 2 wires and remove the switch, then connect the two wires together, you won't need to press the clutch to complete the ignition circuit.

No, the 5 speeds have a neutral safety switch as well. I'm not sure exactly how to tap into it, but it's there.

You could use that to ensure that the car can't be started in gear. It might involve a few relays & such, but it's doable.

wtf?

my car doesn't have this future...

s4 turbo II 5 speed ... (i'm from europe and the car is also a europe version...)

so if the clutch isn't pressed, your starters will not turn? *confused*

^ That's correct. The clutch pedal has to be pushed down for the starter to turn.
