Please respond if you know about following clutch adjustment:
After complete clutch rebuild by dealer at 175M miles on 1988 RX7 non-turbo, clutch released much smoother when shifting - car did not immediately engage drive train. Instead, dealer adjusted clutch (perhaps t/0 bearing) to reduce wear. Although this adjustment might reduce wear, clutch release seems mushy or weak compared to original clutch or prior clutch replacements. However, clutch works fine - you just can't pop gears quickly resulting in immediate drive train engagement.
