Question Clutch Replacement Questions

You don't have to take the flywheel off to remove the pilot bearing right?
(I know i'll need a special tool to remove the bearing just, making sure the flywheel doesn't have to come off.)

Is it required to have my flywheel machined when replacing the clutch? The reason I ask is I don't know how to install it once off (torquing the nut back down that is). If it makes any difference my clutch is slipping most likely to oil contamination and has NOT been making any chattering noises.

Any comments or experiences with the ACDelco clutch kit?

Thanks Matt

Flywheel doesn't have to come off when replacing the pilot. It is advisable to have the flywheel resurfaced because it's cheap and extends the life of your clutch. It'll never be any easier since the tranny is already out.
