Clutch question #2005

Hey guys,
My clutch is slipping under boost and it is just plain wearing out.
My question is, NOT for racing which is in every thread I
search but for street use 10-12lbs of boost set up
right, What is a good clutch and pressure plate. Ive heard
negative about centerforce and have had a lot of people
hate there ACT clutch. I do not want a unsprung clutch or a
6 puck copper clutch but I dont want to slip at 12lbs of
boost. Thanks in advance

No opinoins. Guess I will have to be a
test dummy for a aftrermarket other than
ACT or Centerforce. I just need a sprung
clutch that holds good. Oh well Ill
just pick one and find out I guess.

A friend of mine is running a heavy duty pp and a stock 3rd gen disc, if that helps any. I don't like his pp, because it is heavy and takes quite a bit more leg.

Good call. Racing beat clutches slipped my
mind. I will have to check 'em out.

Ive had the act extreme clutch and it works great, little heavy though. I now have the Racing Beat HD clutch setup with street/strip disc and lightweight steel flywheel and it also works great and the pedal feels pretty much like a stock clutch. This may be the one you want to go with.

Yeah, That sounds like the one.
My wife drove my other rx7 one time
and it had a 4 puck clutch on it.
She hated it and I got sick of it.
