As of 8/16/2010 I know first hand that you can use a S5 trans with an S5 fork and get proper clutch action.

Of course you can use a S5 Transmission with a S5 fork!

Were you meaning to say that you can use a S5 transmission with a S4 fork or vice Versus.

Hooray for incomplete thoughts!!

I mean to say, S5 trans w/S5 fork on S4 clutch components. It does not look like you can swap the forks, the geometry of the forks is slightly different.
