clutch problems
so my clutch acted up after i was using it for a while. i was stuck in traffic and then my clutch pedal started to stick. the pedal wouldnt come all the way back up. after a little while it started to get into gears with the clutch stepped on. finally it wouldnt go into gears at all, atleast 1st and 2nd. i parked and waited for about 20 minutes and my clutch pedal started working like it usually does so i guess the problem starts wen the clutch is being used a lot. anyone have any ideas or has been through the same situation? im thinking it might be the clutch fluid heating up but i wouldnt know how it could or what not. im not that good with mechanics just a little bit. or maybe it could be the master or release cylinder or maybe the clutch cylinder? i dont kno can anyone help me?

under normal driving conditions the clutch is fine but as i use it more and more like in traffic it starts acting up. then the clutch gives a little bit of pressure, not much though. barely at all.

yea bro i've done quite a few clutch jobs on fc rx7's and the master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder tends to give out before everything else. have that checked out. they are fairly easy to replace

www.nopi.com has them fairly cheap if you don't want to rebuild them.

the line heats up and flexes and the metal expands and the fluid probably leaks because when its hot its less viscous
get ss line and new slave and probably the master and it will work like a dream again

Most likely the slave side since that's bolted right onto the transmission and likely to respond more to temperature changes. Mine went bad and inflated the boot like a balloon with fluid.
Even if it is just one part that's failed, it's best to replace the whole system like dw89s5 said if the seals are all the same age. Rebuild kits have a decent chance to fix the problem, but be prepared for the possibility of having to replace cylinders themselves. If the cylinder walls are scored in any way, a new seal won't fix it.
