Clutch problem diagnosis

First off I'm planning on picking this car up in several hours, its an 87 NA w/ 46k miles on the engine and/frame. The problem is this... the car goes into gears good when the car isn't running but when it its warmed up and the have been driving for a few miles its gets hard to get into gears. Additionally it almost feels like the clutch is about to engage when i have the petal down. I don't have any experience with FCs or even hydraulic clutches. My current car is a volkswagen GTi, i'm used to the cable clutch and don't have much for figuring out such a problem.

btw: i did use the search and replied to a post that was similar but was in the 3rd gen forum. I'm just afraid they will give me the “you are in the wrong place” line.

The car has a oem clutch car that he is giving me to throw in but I'm thinking that its not even what is wrong. does where the clutch petal engages directly effect the condition of the clutch? forgive me of my ignorance, i can move it where i wanted it on cable and I'm not sure.

The clutch fluid reservoir should be full and clear as beer.
Any dark tint is worn seal material.
Start by refilling the fluid & bleeding the system.
That should get you going for now.
Your local parts store can get you a replacement master cylinder for <$100.

Really a tint means worn seals? on what the master or slave cylinder... well seein how I rebuilt my master, I would assume the slave... my fluid has a tint, the clutch engages as it should... well I will rebuild my slave cylinder any way, the kit is only $12 at pep boys...
