i bled the clutch and then some just to make sure i got all the air out
my problem is that the pedal doesnt spring back all the way it only comes back 1 to 2 inches the slave does move so there is pressure.

I did do one thing really bad by accident when the slave was disconected i pushed the pedal in and blew the cylinder out (sh** happens) Buti took it apart and then rebuilt it with same parts.

I tried search already didnt really find anything

 

Broken pressure plate or throw-out bearing/fork arm malfunction?

not the master cylinder or the slave

 

Does the clutch pedal start out fully up (like normal), or does it start in the vicinity of the 1-2 inches you're talking about?

 

the same thing just happened to me, and i rebuilt the master, and the slave and it works like a dream. i have a 88 Tll

 

it will only come out all the way if i pull it out
how much did it cost you to rebuild the master and slave

 

Like $70 or something.
