clutch pressure

Yesterday I was racing my buddies merscades with my FC convertible, brought it to the redline a couple of times. After I got to where i was goin I parked my car. Came out bout 2 hours later to find out bout 1/2 quart of tranny fluid leaked out my rear oil seal. My clutch freeplay more than doubled. Is this because my seal leaks or because I am low on gear oil. Any info will be appreciated.

The gear oil has nothing to do with the clutch pedal pressure, that is the clutch hydraulics. Did you lose hydraulic fluid?

Which rear seal? The engine rear main seal? That'd be engine oil then... Or the rear tranny seal (on the driveshaft)
