Clutch pedal won't return

I replaced the clutch, slave and master cylinders on my 89 convertible. When I went to bleed the line, the pedal went down and stayed down.

What did I screw up?

Doug

you did not screw up anything start pumping that with your hand and bleeding it
have fun with your mourning workout

make sure you are pumping it all the way to the floor other wise it may not start bleeding at first.

it takes some time to get all the air out of the brand new system, push the fluid all the way through the system and pump the pedal untill it starts to get firm

Mitty vacs are great for this. Not very expensive

Always easier to bench bleed first then bleed again after install.
If you don't see any fluid coming through the line, after so many pumps, remove then bench bleed.

Some folks will disagree, but I've had good experience with these. Comes in handy when it's just you doing the bleeding...and especially if you don't have a mittyvac.
