Question clutch pedal question

the pedal is REALLY easy to push down, even after i bled the system a few times. it doesnt have any problems going into or coming out of gears and the clutch doesnt slip at all. it also engages pretty close to the floor. so why is the pedal so soft?

I replaced my stock clutch last year with a new stock clutch and they were both pretty easy to push down. As long as it pops back up and doesn't stay down on the floor you shouldn't have a problem.

if it fails, first check the clutch master and slave cylinder.
YOu could check them, and if dirty you can rebuild them your self for like 10 bucks each.

Wait, so let me get this straight.

A: Your clutch works fine
B: It's easy to depress

Ok, so what the **** is the problem? What, want more of a workout or something?

yeah actually i do! using the clutch pedal is one reason i like driving a 5-speed, it gives me something to do. i like a stiff clutch or at least one that has more posistions than engaged and not engaged.

Yeah, that is why I didn't answer this thread the first time I looked at it.
