Clutch pedal noise
I tried a search and didnt come up with anything. MY car ran normal yesterday. I stopped filled it up with gas, and got on the road. As soon as I shifted to second, I heard this loud "click!". I slowed down. I thought it sounded as though a plastic wire harness had somehow gotten caught and was being pinched. I found nothing. I kept driving. As soon as I press the clutch in I hear this clicking noise. There's no resistance in the pedal, it shifts just like always.
Any ideas?
It's a 1990 vert btw.

I've seen/heard where the clutch rod meets the fork, it becomes dry, and will cause a slight snapping noise when pedal depressed and rod is to "pivot" on the fork. Sprayed lubricant on same and disappeard. Another time actually pulled rod away from fork, then put lubricant on fork.

I get this annoying little squeak when I depress the pedal, I can't find the source though. I figured it would be a bolt somewhere under the dash. Still looking. Arr.
