the master and slave cylinders are going out and they are pretty pricey. anyone have any cheap solutions?

 

I just replaced mine. Cheapest source for OEM is Victoria British. if you want the Borg Werner version ( good replacement parts) you can find them on ebay for about $30 and $20. DOnt even bother gettign them rebuilt. It will just fail again. I know it happened to me.

its actually my friends car but 1988 10th AE

 

slave cylinders i got at discount auto parts for 45 brand new. Master my friend gave me off a parts car.
