clutch issue --what the deal was
ok guys,i was on here a few months back and was talking about how my clutches kept slipping.Any way i had put in a oem clutch it started slipping when hot,had it replaced with a centerforce dual friction.put about 600 miles on it and same thing after you got into her hard it would slip really bad. This was driving me crazy and my performance shop that put it in.Anyway centerforce wanted everything, clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder. We get a call back from them and they said--who put the flywheel in and it was -the first shop not where i got the centerforce clutch put in.They said that my flywheel was a 2step and whoever turned the flywheel didnt do both sides --the freakn thing was .20 off causing the clutch to burn up.just giving you guys a heads up on a possible problem if it ever comes up.But i have to say centerforce redid the flywheel and sent me a new clutch kit for nothing. They are a great company
