Clutch hydraulics

Say I put something besides DOT 3 in my clutch fluid place. Does it hurt it? I didnt fill it it up i just topped it off to the line. So does anyone know if I just screwed up my hydraulics?

well you got some air in there now .... you might have to bleed the system. Also, you probably let some moisture get the DOT3... not good.

Just bleed the system and buy some good DOT3 (ENOUGH THIS TIME) and you should be fine.
