Question Clutch having problems again (pics attached)

ok this is the little thing in the slave cylinder. does this look too worn to work? you have to pump the clutch several times in order to shift. also how do i remove the shifter fork to see if it is bent?

If you have to pump the clutch pedal a couple of times to disengage the clutch I doubt the fork is bent. Your system is either got a leak in it or the master or slave is not push in the fluid correctly. It’s hard to be sure from the pic’s but that looks a little bit worn. With the slave disconnected does the master push ample amount of fluid when you depress the clutch pedal?

Just replace the mastercylinder, slave cylinder, and the clutch line (with a nice braded one). And surely your problem will be fixed.

If you've taken it apart, then your probably going to have to rebuild it now. Or maybe just buy a reman one.

buy your clutch cylinders from nopi.com tho. They are the same OEM ones as Mazdatrix, but like 20 or 30 bucks cheaper, i just got mine from them. got here 3 days after i ordered them.

Guess I am just ghetto. I took that plunger out of another used slave, and just slid it into the one I wanted to use. Works great..

i just bought a new master cylinder about 5 months ago and i have a braided stanless steel line already in. so its got to be my slave it looks really worn but i could of sworn the guy said that he just put a new one on. (i can tell that it is not brand new as the boot around it and everything looks 10+ years old. plus i have a act 6puck unsprung clutch that doesnt help with the shifting. i ordered a new slave from napa it was only 55$ and the guy there was pretty damn cool. he gave my friend a dallas cowboys cheerleader calander for free

I'm sure the OEM style is the best, but I've used Advance Auto master and slaves in two of my sevens with zero problems.
