clutch and flywheel swap

okay. i have a 87 motor with a manual clutch and flywheel but it has a cracked block so im puting in a 91 motor... but it is from an automatic. will the flywheel swap over with no problem or do i have to buy a new clutch for the 91 motor... and btw both motors are not turbo... thanks for the help guys

I'm fairly certain that you will need an s5 (89-91) flywheel for your 91 motor, where what you have is an s4 flywheel. I believe the counterweights are different between series.

But the clutch should be fine.

yup you will need the flywheel from an 89 to 92

Time for a lightweight flywheel!!!

Or you can find a stock S5 non turbo flywheel on the for sale section. Just put up a want to buy ad.
