clutch fluid?

Can you use brake fluid for the hydraulic clutch fluid?

I believe they're the same thing. As for which DOT rating I don't know but yes you can use brake fluid for your clutch fluid.

its only $25 a quart, but you'll probably have the only dot 5 clutch fluid around...

All the service manuals and your owners manual specify DOT 3 brake fluid for the clutch hydraulic fluid.

keep in mind the age of the service manual.....16 years ago DOT 4 probably hasnt been invented yet.....most brands says that it exceeds DOT3 and 4 anyway...go with that
