I am running a 6-puck ebay XTD clutch and have had no problems. I have done 5000rpm launches on street slicks with no problems and still haven't had any issues. Maybe I have been lucky, I don't know.

I am but just another victim to the eBay clutch stage 3 Turbo kit. As much as you guys tried to warn me I went ahead and bought it and after the break in I got on it and it slips. And all I have is 1821 miles on the rebuild. Now I'm going with the ACT everything kit. lol I will finish it once I put in the TII Diff and halfshafts I bought. I ran it with the n/a diff for the break in. My question is, is it the pressure plate that’s too weak or is it the kit in a whole that is crap?

I still think I will stick with Spec.. it is alot more cost effective over ACT and damn near equal IMO on quality..

however I will NEVER knock ACT it has to be almost the best clutch on the market

I've glazed an XTD clutch like a christmas ham, IN an N/A FC. So i bought an ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate and modified street disc. Should be perfect up to 400lb/ft which i dont plan on exceeding

I have an ACT HD pressure plate, Exedy street disc, ACT Prolite flywheel, and ACT counterweight. I may have spent somewhere around $650.00... give or take a few dollars.

if i am not mistaken exedy manufactures the discs for ACT so i would assume an exedy clutch would be of decent quality

plus ive been running it for 40,000 miles with no slip
