Ok, the car is fixed (my wallet is hurting big time...)

Max-Fix replaced:
The clutch disk,
the pressure plate,
the throwout bearing.

They said they would have restored the pp if they could, and the throwout didnt need to be replaced, but was damaged and why not do it right?

so to answer anyones question.. the clutch probably failed because the pp wasn't doing its job. But cant conclusivly say that because I am not a mechanic, just what I think.

The most important thing (for me anyway) was the fact that the flywheel wasn't screwed... they just machined it and it was sweet!!!

i drove my turbo 7 too my mechanics with no clutch, he later went on to tell me that the pads were completely gone and the only thing that made the car move was the rivvits in the plate that barely grabbed the flywheel....

i had to drive it at 6000rpm to get it too move at all, poor bastards behind me were cooked alive....

needless to say, resurface the flywheel and get a new clutch and it's just as new....
