Question Clutch!!

Hey, I got an 88 gxl and I need a new clutch
I was wondering what brand of clutchs I should look at?
What type of price range am I looking at?
I want a clutch and pressure plate with all the bearings If I can get that.
Anyone have any good or bad experiences with different types or brands Of clutchs?
I want something that will hold just a little more than the stock clutch like a heavy duty one.
Any good sites with any good prices?
How hard is it to put a new one in?
Are their any tricks I should do to help me put my new clutch in?

Question clutch

I checked them out and they seem a little expensive.
rx7store.net has a deal for $299
that sounds resonable right?

SR sells the ACT stuff. Jason's prices are usually better than theirs. I've ordered 3 ACT clutch setups from Ray, and I've always been happy with them.

I got the internet special from SR and I couldn't be more pleased. Everything you need is included as far as hardware goes. Get a SS clutch hose while you're at it. I think they are only $20 at K2RD. The 9.5# is great. More power to the ground and the engine really comes alive not having to spin the heavy ol' stock flywheel. It is not the devil as some will tell you. The ACT clutch is much, much better than the CenterForce Dual Friction that was in my car before. If you are going to go through that much work, you might as well put the flywheel in. I assume you are doing you own work of course. With this recommendation when all is said and done, you'll be looking at about $1,000. Don't let this scare you away. You get a lot for this price. This is money well spent.
