cluster panel fuse keeps blowing....

I recently installed an amp (250 max watt) to power my 6.5" infinity rear speakers...and it blew the 15A meter fuse twice now..

everything on the panel still works like the tach/spedometer....it just doens't light up until i replace the fuse..then when i start the car after putting in a fuse it'll light up until i shut it off and start again, then it'll blow..

what's causing this? to much power? what can i do about it?
