clogged pre-cat?

Hey guys, just quick question.

I turned on my car the other day and moved it into my garage to get under it and change out the motor mount and first exhaust gasket. While in this process I noticed my cats were a little hotter than I expected from a 20 second drive ( though I had driven for an hour about an hour before this). Turns out it was only the second pre-cat that was hot, the first one and the main were both still cold, as was the rest of the exhaust.

Do you guys think it's cloggged? And if so, how much would that hurt my cars performance?

It will hurt your performance greatly. Go take a spirited drive, then look under the car and see if the precat is glowing...

I say gut the ******.

The precats don't do anything other than restrict and the emissions guys will never know if your supposed to have 3 or 1.

I bought the Bonez Superflo downpipe and cat which eliminates those and it sounds great and I passed emissions without any probs.

HAHAAAaaa, as annoying as this is, I'm not worried to much because I may be replacing my drive train with a TII setup... YAAAAA!!! hehe. but yeah, I wanna get rid of the cats anyway.

Any idea what numbers the HP drop would be?
