Ok so after I go somewhere and my car is off for a few hours the clock randomly resets itslef. This doesnt happen all the time and I cant figure out what is causing it. Has anyone had this problem or know what is wrong. It is really starting to **** me off.

first thing you always do with electrical **** is check the fuses always...if you know which one controls the clock check that one..and after that...take out the cover and the idiot lights and look at the connectors on both sides and see if there is any brown or black input or outputs on it...and if it still does it...get yourself a little clock that runs or a little battery and runs for like 5 months and put in on the steering wheel with velcrow...thats what i did...good luck!!

The solder joints where the connectors attach to the circuit boards are a common trouble spot.
Do a search on "cold solder joints"
I fixed several problems at once by re-soldering the connectors..

Yes it is amazing how much you can fix with a 10 dollar solder gun instead of buying new
